i don’t think it’s queer peoples fault for not supporting corporations and capitalism enough that’s leading to this shift. i think it has more to do with the continued decades long project from the right to demonize queer people from public life

People acting like Jimmy Carter was a saint is a laughable example of whitewashing presidents actions after they leave office. Happens every damn time. He fucked up what FDR did, brought in austerity, war and budget hawked, the list goes on. At least he was better than Biden on Palestine.
