Just saw this 2-star review someone left for the show and initially it annoyed me. But now, I'm realizing it's an exceptional example of what consumerism has done to the arts and those who consume them. I want to point out a couple of things.

These fossils are more than 550 million years old. It takes two hour drive from St. John’s plus a one hour hike to reach Mistaken Point.

The fossils themselves are located on a shelf of rock that juts out into the Atlantic. You have to take off your shoes to walk on them without causing damage.

Some of you may remember episode 68 - Cape Spear, which features descriptions of the world’s oldest fossils, which are found at Mistaken Point in Newfoundland.

Well last weekend Jacob (who wrote the episode) actually visited Mistaken Point! Here are a few photos.

driving the east coast of Newfoundland is easy cuz if you accidentally veer off the highway towards the water you’ll hit North America’s invisible boundary. they won’t let you leave the gameplay area.

A brief fall reminder: if you have a chance to taste a Salish apple, do so. Best apple I’ve ever tasted and the only apple to carry the Wrong Station Seal of Valor.

LMAOOOOO tiny racist protest HOUNDED out of the park by THOUSANDS of torontonians screaming ‘GO HOME NAZIS GO HOME!’ Absolutely love to see it, triumph of the human spirit, Toronto sometimes surprises me for the best. Live band playing Bella Ciao. Unparalleled

Huge counterprotest to the hate rally at Christie Pits. Racists vastly outnumbered, immaculate vibes on the good side; live music, giant jenga, the works. Come through & show solidarity!
