I’d say both, but leaning more towards character driven. A plot can be great, but if the characters don’t interest me or feel vivid, I won’t be eager to find out what happens. There’s been plenty of good plots with flat MCs that really lower a book score for me

Submitted a script to my producers today that I began in Feb 22. I worked my❤️out for a year & submitted what I thought was a final draft in Feb 23. Then they said, what if your antagonist was your protagonist? That note broke both me & the script, but it also remade us, better. #screenwriting

Listen, if you can't be bothered to take the time to do something as simple as check your spelling & formatting before you submit a script, then you are telling the reader that you don't take a pride in your work, & that your script, possibly, isn't worth taking the time to read. #screenwriting
