I was slightly impressed with myself for doing a four mile walk today (with a fair bit of uphill) ten weeks after a knee replacement, but then I fell asleep for half an hour on the sofa, so maybe not quite as fit as I thought 🤣

The temperature has dropped off enough to justify lighting the stove which means I can also begin roasting hazelnuts 🌰

This fallow field is a sort of Vole metropolis, if you walk quietly or keep still for a few minutes the grass begins to rustle.
