especially rough, but I keep at it regardless. Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s AI, but my usual streams of work have dried up almost entirely.

At the end of the day I do art for myself, and I’ll always do it, but it’s starting to look like I’ll have to retire from freelancing if things don’t pick up.

I simply draw for several hours every day. I study things from life or photos, draw shapes and straight lines and do my best to let go of everything and doodle. But the key is I draw a lot.

Thanks! Most of my favourite artists make comics, but I’m not really into comics either (not superheroes anyway). It’s just a way to tell the stories I have in my head at the end of the day.
