I'm not disagreeing that we're responsible for how we project ourselves into these spaces and knowing what power you hold is important. I don't think anyone involved in this should be harassed.

I do think there needs to be a distinction for sure between being welcoming and telling people to piss off. Honestly, the politics of managing a community that large are beyond my knowledge and scope but I'd definitely say it has to be 'fuck nazis' first and foremost.

I see the point with the colors. It's hard not to evoke the most famous example of their use when you do use them. Without being able to see into her mind, it's hard to say just what some of these designs were doing or what Zen was going for, but some definitely give a bit of an iffy vibe.

That's a fair concern to have. It's not uncommon for people to cling to their opening like that. Though I'd say Zen being so clear in her last stream that she absolutely doesn't agree with them or their intent is fair from her. Hopefully it keeps those rats out. Fingers crossed.

Well I'm the one who said the initial criticism itself was that it was nazi-esque not that your post said it.

But it is the audacity. The claim made is, being real, based on vibes. Calling someone a nazi or even implying used to be based on statements and party attire not just vibe similarity.

People are always going to be people, and they'll respond with anger to anger. No doubt her new model had dozens of hours poured into it and lots of love. To be rejected on what we can probably call the harshest accusation imaginable might prompt the harshest response imaginable too.

I don't disagree that the wording she chose might have been poor. But, it's also fair to say that she was always going to respond with anger over being called something that horrible. I'm curious about the pandering side though, I haven't seen much about who she's had on.

I would love to see an ounce of proof that's where the inspiration came from considering how the outfit actually looks compared to some, what, SS uniform?

And I'm sorry, but people are actual people. If you call someone, baselessly, a nazi, of course they'll be upset and say things like that.

As for 'incitement' I mean idk calling one of the biggest vtubers around something that serious is obviously going to cause backlash.
