Top tip: Wax your planes!
My current workshop environment is less than ideal to say the least.
Yet with a little candle wax, I can take shavings thick and fast without my "workbench" moving anywhere!

Broke out The Woodworking Shed sharpening system for the first time!
A little nervous honing the edge on a brand new chisel, having never sharpened a tool before! But it turned out pretty well.
I got a burr, a shiny finished, and it cuts effortlessly!

I was pleased with the fit until I saw the top! Whoopsie 😬
I cut it a bit short. Must have misread the tape measure...
