I offer you tiny bunnies from a tumblr post I saw today:

There is literally a poll on tumblr right now about everyone's favourite punctuation and em dash is beating out even the humble semicolon!!
a tumblr poll, started six days ago, headlined "Fuck it. Best Punctuation poll." The em dash is winning with 28.9% of the vote, followed by the semi-colon at 20.3% and the comma at 12.2%.

Oh and I also have this nightmare theory that stardates are like a periodic function but the period and y-axis offset increase with time and that explains Disco/SNW/TOS stardates going up and down, and implies that the late 24th century is just on a really big slope that seems linear

Early part which oscillates frequently is labeled „mid 23re century DIS-TOS“, then the next increase is labeled „late 23rd century TOS movies“, then a very long increase is labeled „late 24th century TNG-Pic“, the next maximum is labeled „Dis =)“
