Liverpool eliminated from the Champions League by PSG. Well deserved by PSG. Both teams looked exhausted by the end. LFC can get more rest between matches now, get more rotation minutes for fringe players, and still take home trophies. Let’s loo at this as another amazing start to Slot’s tenure YNWA

The ref has awarded more than double the amount of fouls to PSG than Liverpool while missing at least 3 crucial calls. Liverpool cannot rely on a ref to do their job well, and take every opportunity into their own hands.

Szobo kicked in the calf and no penalty given. Even the announcers on Paramount realize this and try to justify the no-call. Ref is starting to show some bias and needs to reset himself for the second half.

Liverpool needs to shift to a midfield press at this rate. PSG’s energy is being conserved and used at a more efficient rate by doing so. Liverpool will open itself up to scoring opportunities at this rate. Dembele sitting on top of Konate waiting for the through ball.

Not enough power in the midfield. We need Darwin Núñez to drop deeper; either as a decoy or as a F9. Man U is doin. Great job of pushing us to the touchline and trapping us in the corners.

I’m enjoying the selective use of the press. Last year teams knew Liverpool would be gassed by minute 35. It’s sad Klopp is leaving THIS year. His in-game adjustments and tactics have gone up a few levels.
