Added foil to bulk out his belly...

The fun game starts of trying to smooth his torso so that it looks like metal. Using many palette knifes... I feel like I smooth one area and push another out of place 😂

With the sketch done, time for the real robot.

Using tubes for the limbs, both to allow the wire for the LEDs to run up the body but also because it looks amazing.

Bending the tubes was extremely hard 😂🫣 it took two of us and we snapped some where it suddenly went too well....

Between Easter Holidays and attending a lovely wedding, there hasn't been much time to work on my robot.

Sketch is finished, I enjoyed sculpting him so much I couldn't stop and got carried away with all the details.

Now to catch up before Sunday.

After a few months of being unable to sculpt due to a herniated disc in my back, I'm finally on the mend, just in time to attempt the Cnotbusch Robot course.

Unfortunately, my poor dragon is still waiting for his scales, and he'll have to be patient a bit longer.

Slow progress on my procrastination project. I may have remade this little face more than a few times 😆 It's the eyes... I have a fae-like character in my head, similar a house brownie, so went with the dark eyes... not sure it works.

Before I try catch up on my dragon I felt like sculpting a little face... I'd quite like to try exaggerating the features, huge nose, pillowy cheeks - just play and see what comes of it.

Kept the texture light on the horns, it has *nothing* at all to do with continually messing up the rings on the horns, at all 🤦‍♀️ I can't decide whether to add the bevel or not.

Symmetrical horns are defeating me. Strengthed with some wire and spent too long trying to get them to curve the same way.

Ended up having simplify them 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 The twist was a step too much... This time.

Started work on the... eyebrow plates?? As its a very young dragon he grown into his snout yet... or grown his teenage facial spikes... Finding it tricky to shape the eyebrows without poking out his eyes! 😄
