Could this be the heaviest wine bottle in BC? The Grizzli Winery 2014 Cabernet Franc reserve weighs in at 1221 grams (2 pounds 11 ounces) more than double the average bottle (around 544 grams or 1 pound 3.2 ounces) empty. Have you ever had a really heavy bottle? If yes, what was it?

When your wife is a healthcare worker, you soon learn to adapt to celebrating special days when you can, so you will understand why my New Years Eve post is a little late (she worked 6 night shifts in a row). None-the-less, Fort Berens 2022 Blanc de Blanc made the wait well worthwhile. Delicious!
