Our first night, a large deer came sniffing around the tent, then jumped with a massive bellyflop into the lake. A less relaxing, but funny sort of magic!

It's amazing, isn't it? I introduced my kid to camping last year. He never wanted to leave. I bought a pop up tent for inside the house during winter to pretend! The real benefit is natural surroundings, but something about being in a tent feels like a cozy nest. That + fresh air = magic!

I adore strawberry as a medicinal plant. 🍓

Since every part can be used, I grow Alpine (wild) strawberries in warmer seasons for extractions and face masks. Then I harvest them entirely for loose leaf tea in winter.

I have one indoor year-round Alpine strawberry that's like part of the family!
