To accommodate people's schedules, we have decided to implement rolling acceptances for our 2026 conference:

This workshop was designed in service of our Bloomsbury-WHA Diversity in World History Prize, though participation in the monograph prize is not required for attending the workshop.

In order to ensure that only members participated in the vote and that each member cast only one vote we used ElectionRunner, the same secure online voting software that we've used for our last two Council elections. You can see the results here: vote.electionrunner.com/election/HW2...

Following WHA procedure, we submitted the resolution to a vote of the entire membership of the WHA from February 18-25, 2025. The vote passed with 83% of participants in favor of the resolution, 13% opposed, and 4% abstaining.

Therefore, the resolution is affirmed as a measure of the WHA.
