I can't wait for the eventual Oroboros nature where we get "Moana Live Action - The Animated Version" in a full circle death of creativity moment.

Remember when new ideas were a thing?

Yeh don't get me wrong, I've never run a pre-written adventure in entirety myself because I'm confident in my skills to invent a story and see it through (plus I'm often a find the story after a few sessions guy). But it doesn't mean it's not valued by many in the community

It's not just doing it because it's always been done, there's a lot of the audience that lacks the improv skills needed to run with loose frames only, and need more paper buttons to push.

Daggerheart's rules do an AMAZING job of 'splitting the difference' and hopefully our adventures can too!

I think what you're proposing is leaving the void there and hoping Campaign Frames fill it. I think they're different things that work together. Embracing the difference is desgining adventures to suit the system, not abandoning the concept.

I think this is reductionist thinking.

Old is not bad. Adventures are loved by many people. Learning, and evolving to suit modern needs is what is better.

Doesn't Monster of the Week, an iconic PBtA game, come with an Adventure in it? I feel like I remember seeing that when I read it?

A lot of GMs like having adventure modules so they don't have to invent the entire adventure. The discussion is around how to keep the collaboration regardless.
