While my deep rurality precludes any sort of irl #bonsai community, the gender divide in this particular art from is quite stark. Some of the most outstanding talents like Chiako Yamamoto, Hitomi Kawasaki, Anne Vu, and Heike van Gunst are deeply inspiring to my own practice!
