Who do our movies honor?
The heroes who sacrificed for the greater good

The ones who took a knee when it was easier to be quietly obedient?

History won’t remember your speeches in mansions.
It will remember who sacrificed their comfort for someone else’s survival.

Put backbone behind your words.
Walk away.
Refuse the contracts.
Cancel the meetings.
Stand where it actually costs you something...

The people you claim to support already pay dearly, every single day.

So stop preaching justice from behind studio gates. Stop shifting the burden onto those who can’t afford to “wait their turn.”

Solidarity that costs you nothing is branding, not bravery.

History shows this clearly
the few who risked careers in past struggles are remembered not for their wealth but for their courage. Everyone else is a footnote.

You say you do it for your craft.

But if craft was truly the reason, you’d still act, still write, still create outside corporate gates. You wouldn’t need Disney’s paycheck to tell your story.

So be honest: is it really about the art,
or about the status, the money?

We pay in jobs, housing, safety, and sometimes in blood. All while the powerful rehearse speeches about “standing with the marginalized.”

Meanwhile, those with nothing carry the fight:

* Queer voices, immigrants, workers, disabled folks fighting for survival
