I remember recording off the radio. Waiting patiently for the right song, and praying the DJ didn't talk over any of it. Plus hoping that you could get the play/record button combo pushed down in time.

Our boy (in my pic over there) is neither a herding nor service dog, but come 10pm, he just stares at me from the bed. Dude does guilt trip better than any parent.

I don't comment unless I have something to add to the discourse. Other than that, I follow Wheaton's Law, and do my best not to be a dick. Some people just love to stir up shit. What small lives they must lead.

The hubs & I had leftover taco mac. Hell, I didn't even put on pants today. While I miss making the big meal, it has since settled into just another Thur in this house.

Ok, look. Way back in 1980, my mother died by accidental drowning. We had to have a closed casket, due to what the water did before she was found.

We usually go out for it once or twice a week, but to a local cafe owned by some friends. I will continue to support them with my $. Plus their place is sex-positive, so bonus!

We once drove straight home from Las Vegas, 24+ hours. This was like 10 years ago. Not sure I could do it again now. Gads, getting old both sucks & blows. 🙄

We had 7 weekends of RenFaire, in addition to the weekend before for setup. Between the beginning of Sept, and the end of Faire, my husband worked 52 days straight without a break (including his day job). He was DONE by the time Nov 1 rolled around.
