Adding some videos I wasn't able to add to the original thread:

I apparently didn't take progress pictures of the cloak, but I sewed it as well, made out of burlap, so it has a great weight and volume to it.
All resulting in this final build. I'm so happy with how this turned out, and I can't wait to get pics back!

The hip guards were a ton of fun to make. Foam covered in faux leather with spikes screwed into them

These pants were a bit of a challenge. These are vintage German riding pants. And while I did buy them in my size, they had clearly been altered to fit a smaller waist, so I had to undo those alterations so they would fit me, and then paint them, of course

I love how the gloves turned out. Having them next to the sword was when I knew I had something awesome for this build. The gloves are suede, I bought the. Instead of making them, but did the painting myself

(and a picture of the bandages before I painted them)

More painting! I wrapped the handle of the sword in leather cord, then painted the gaps to really give it depth (and make my mistakes look intentional). The bandage sleeves were my first time sewing with my machine

After getting everything primed and sealed, I started painting. Following the cel shading in the game, adding faux leather on the side panels of the armor to look like leather straps, as well as small screws and bolts on the armor as an added detail

I was super excited to try something new with this build. I sealed and primed the foam with liquid neoprene. It's super strong, flexible, and durable. I loved using this stuff. The sword was also a really fun build

I patterned out the cuirass after taking my measurements. Starting with the front and back panels, and the details of the muscles. The mask was pretty easy to pattern out.
