I can relate to nell from the haunting of hill house so much. She has so much love to give but no one really pays attention to her and the one time she finds real love, it's ripped away from her. Truly tragic.

I had a woman randomly approach me and she was just curious how old I was because my name was more common in the 70s. Anyway, she thought I was 10 years younger and then told me I had good genes. She said she had autism. Ngl it was a somewhat odd but pleasant interaction I think.

I used to love fantasizing about the romance I wanted in life. I would indulge listening to love songs, watch every rom com, and obsess over celebrity relationships.
I can't enjoy any of these things now because I'm just reminded that none of that stuff will ever happen for me.
