Tom has flopped onto his side, and is sprawled over the newspapers I use for padding boxes. He's washing his shoulder, vigorously; his tail is caught mid-lash, his ears are sticking out in various directions, his tongue is stuck all the way out and has fur stuck to it, and he's glaring directly at the camera.

I was gonna add a picture of Remy to that post, but the buttons disappeared, because my phone hates freedom. Anyway here's a dog.

Three lengths of steel wire sit on my workbench, each bent into a simple curlicue. They've been placed so that together they form a pleasing shape, and joined together with copper wire wrapped around them. The spaces between the wires have been filled with old beat-up washers and purple beads, all held in place with more copper wire.

Got it all framed out, & I'm messing with the washers. I haven't done much with washers before, so figuring that out is sometimes frustrating, but it's fun, too. It's coming along nicely.

Three lengths of steel wire sit on my workbench. Each has been bent into a simple curlicue, and they've been placed so that together they form a pleasing shape, and joined together with copper wire wrapped around them. A line of old beat-up washers runs up the left side; some of those have also been joined with copper wire. Other washers are scattered around, along with purple beads and a few jewelry tools.

Tom is giving my knuckles tiny tonguetip kisses. My fingernails are appallingly dirty. Tom's now shoving his massive head into my finger. Naturally he's blurry. Tom is resting his open mouth against the tip of my finger. It looks like he might be gnawing on me but it's really more kisses.

Major Tom, a big grey tabby, is sitting smack in the middle of my workbench, on top of the empty label sheets I wrap glass stuff in. He's gazing innocently off to the right. He's turned his head but is still pretending like I'm not right there. Except for the purring. He's looking almost directly at the camera but definitely right at me. He's clearly innocent of all possible things.

I found SO MUCH STUFF. Just. SO MUCH.

Loiosh wandered a bit, then yelled at me a lot, then found a flat, only slightly muddy spot, & took a nap.

There were plenty of actually dry spots. This cat, I do not know.

The stuff, though:
The pile includes an orange tool organizer, a coil of pretty thick steel wire, a white plastic grating that used to cover something unidentified, a red ball, and a pile of creek glass and rocks. One rock has a hole in it big enough to fit my thumb through, a perfect hagstone. The creek glass is mostly white or green, but there's one blue piece and a pale purple bit.

the only good thing about this window screen is that it exists, but that's all it needs to do, so

it'll need a lot of caulk around the edges but NOT TODAY

TODAY I have CROSSBREEZE (or I would if we had any breeze, which, alas)
It's a window screen! One layer of regular insect screen set behind a layer of hardware cloth. Which is actually three pieces of hardware cloth, because that's what I had. The two pieces covering the bottom three-quarters of the window have quarter-inch holes, and the strip across the top has half-inch holes. And also a certain amount of rust.

I feel like I've got the hang of this haircut but ask me again in an hour or two when it's dry.
Me, a white trans guy. My hair is in a messy pompadour. I have more chin fur than I used to. I'm sitting in my van, grinning at the camera. of course everywhere I have hair growing in I also have zits, that's pleasant. not as bad as first puberty, at least.
My right forearm. It's basically horizontal across the photo. The hair closer to the camera is distinctly darker than the hair further back. There's also a faint purple stripe that I honestly thought was a scar at first. Bodies are weird.

Me, a white trans guy. I'm grinning at the camera. My hair is buzzed on the sides and just a few inches long on top, and the front is in what I'm told is a messy pompadour. My mustache is definitely a mustache now, and the rest of my facial hair is coming along nicely.

anyway I bought a Cute Hat while I was out, & THEN, I managed to go into mall wart without removing my Cute Hat, even though that's entirely against the Hat Manners I learned
it is I, a white trans guy. I'm looking into the camera, smiling; one of my front teeth has a rounded notch. A black, white, and grey checked newsboy hat is covering most of my hair, though there's a thin grey-brown braid peeking around from behind. I've got a decent start on a goatee, plus the very beginnings of a neck and jawline beard. I'm sitting in my van, and wearing blue wire frame glasses and a green polo shirt.

Then I can get them back out of Tyrava & figure out what I need to block. I hope! I do NOT want them getting a foothold like they have in the van.

I also measured out the herbs for the batch of can't hurt, might help & stuck them in a pot. Poured the grapeseed oil over em & brought the pot down ...
A stainless steel pot with a couple cups of herbs in the bottom. Chamomile is recognizable to those who know it well; the rest are in much smaller pieces, and range from brown through tan to a rich gold in color.

taking a vitamin I & just gonna sit for a bit until my spine relaxes some. then I gotta rebuild the fire & see if I can fetch Marisol over here -- she's the tiniest & her Momma is worried about her keeping warm overnight while everyone's away.
