I took a walk along the Little Arkansas between the Seneca St bridge and the pedestrian bridge about Sundown Saturday night (May 31). The first pic is from the bridge looking west. The rain we've received this spring is making the river fatter right now.

Mortal Enemies. My two boy cats--Bodhi (Grey) on the right and Zenji (Black & White) on the left. Zenji was damned if he was going to surrender his spot. Zenji is 2 and frequently tussles with Bodhi who is 10 and has a couple of pounds on him. Zenji has unlimited energy. But no fight today.
Mortal Enemies. My two boy cats--Bodhi (Grey) on the right and Zenji (Black & White) on the left. Bodhi has a couple of lbs on Zenji, but Zenji has unlimited energy and likes to mix it up. Zenji is about 2 and Bodhi is 10 and Zenji can usually tire him out. Here's my explanation of this picture: Zenji usually sleeps on the couch and thinks this place belongs to him. Bodhi usually is on the couch only when I'm on it and he wants to be on me. For whatever reason, Bodhi decided he wanted the place on the couch for himself. Zenji was damned if he was going to surrender his spot (especially since he can pretty much match and even surpass Bodhi in a tussle, he wears him out anyway). For some reason, Zenji wasn't willing to fight for it but he wasn't going to give it up either. I came home and found them like this.
