Trenton was taken to the Putnam County detention facility. He has since been released.

Shortly after the meeting adjourned (and the live stream video was cut off), Trenton rose to introduce himself to the commisioners, as many others were doing. He was swarmed by police and citizens. Many of us in the group approached with cameras and questions, and were met with physical force

Tonight I was attacked along with four others at a Putnam County commision meeting. Trenton Strode was arrested. Trenton committed the crime of being the only black man in the room, peacefully speaking to a county commisioner.
