Launch fast and iterate. It’s difficult to get it right, but when it works, it's a game changer!

But it makes sense!

Apparently, this is possible because Japan allows AI developers to train their models on copyright data.
Was wondering why OpenAI chose to showcase images in the style of Japanse art studio Studio Ghibli - but not, Disney characters, Marvel comics etc.

I suspect b/c Japan is the only major country that made training on copyrighted works legal.

Expect no other country to follow after this…

Also, ever since the launch of ChatGPT Image Generation, everyone is creating images for fun. End users have no idea about the resources these tools consume. Copyright laws be damned as well.

What's the point if users don't have an easy way to download or use it.

Ah makes sense. Unfortunately, there are many such cases.

Novelty factor perhaps? 🤷🏽‍♂️

I recently started working at a company where we have good UX designers. This is my first time working with a UX team; it has completely changed the way I think as a backend engineer and made me a better one.

Computer: best I can do is plagiarism and poorly done art

We had that. It was called Waterfall model and it didn't work.

I recently started working out, and everything hurts so much. Eating pizza wasn’t this difficult!

Could you please elaborate on this? I would like to understand more about UX related challenges.

I believe every software/app should have an LTS version, which is stable and we're not forced to update until the next one is stable enough to become LTS. Those who want the latest version can do so and they will have to compromise on stability and dramatic changes. Too much to ask, though, I guess.

I never understand why companies cheap out on good UX designers. Accessibility has always been an afterthought, but now they don't even seem to get the basics right. Whatever happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it“?
