That's what I was leaning towards, and it seems like a lot of people are putting forth that theory. I probably need to read through the thing again.

I liked the comic, but I can't say I wasn't a little but underwhelmed, was hoping to get more closure for the mercs. Unless I missed something, the whole not revealing why the administrator wanted Redmond and Blutarch to fight forever just kinda seemed like a copout.
