Just recuped from Sacred Space Conference and it was an absolute blast! Made some stellar connections and talked a lot about moving community forward and how to build out groups and organizations. So so glad for the opportunity to represent The Troth in the larger pagan community!

Diversity is accepting the truth: Ásatrú is a worldwide religion, practiced by people from all backgrounds in all corners of the globe. Inclusion is welcoming and creating space for that truth. Equity devoting yourself to serving those people in the way that helps them the most. It’s very simple.

Things are overwhelming right now and a lot of people are disconnecting from the things that used to bring them purpose, community and joy. Please remember that while you feel you can make no difference, there are spaces where you matter and people will notice you’re gone.

It’s important to remember in times of trouble that there are three things within our control. Our thoughts. Our words. Our actions.

Turn your thoughts toward wisdom, your words towards truth and kindness, and your actions towards healing.

May the Gods bless you today.

We aren’t in the general habit of agreeing with Popes, but where it concerns the basic universal dignity of all human beings, we are in agreement.

We should strive to treat each other with kindness and compassion, and use our hands in this world to heal rather than to harm.

We get asked a lot if Norse Paganism is welcoming to trans people, queer people, etc. Our prerogative is there is no Norse Paganism without trans people or queer people. It simply does not exist. Our religion has been built on the work of LGBTQIA+ people. Scholarship. Theology. Liturgy. All of it.

We are happy to announce the publication of our periodical: Idunna. Issue 131 is now available for our members to download. This has been a long time coming and we want to thank our editors, contributors and volunteers for the hard work it took getting Idunna back into production.

In #heathenry we like to talk a lot about the lessons of the Havamal as guidance for life. Today, we focus on the frame of the poem: a stranger, an old man with nothing to give but his wisdom, comes to your door. This “stranger” is Odin.

The way you treat the stranger is the way you treat a God.
