They both get out the shelter to say their goodbyes, slightly interrupted by an Overseer reporting the inside of the shelter as a big problem, Gourmand says it's just Big Sis Moon. Hunter concludes that although he's weird, he served him good. He leaves, not hearing the glitching screams of Overseer before exploding a very epic ULTRAKILL explosion. (v2 reference probably)

Gourmand takes note of the huge swarms of flies on and in the vulture behind Hunter so he excuses himself for a second, going over there and crushing the skeleton. He comes back dusting his hands to Hunter informing him that it's late and that he should be all good to leave before the swarms of flies scatter everywhere in the shelter, covering them almost entirely. Gourmand says it's Neuron Flies which is supposedly a good thing.

As they eat(Gourmand almost consuming the entire spear), Hunter raises further suspicion and states that the food's fresh, Gourmand tries to explain that they tend to taste the same, if not better when they're pulled from a stomach. Hunter then questions Gourmand's decision of him having to hunt a large vulture for eating what it ate instead of the body itself, which Gourmand stutters to.

To Hunter's confusion, he tells him that he mistaken dropwigs and Gourmand actually said "Spiderbigs", saying that it's a regional dialect for bats which Hunter also asked about in suspect, Gourmand says it's from Shaded Citadel, a region in-game.

Gourmand makes up the excuse that there's creeping food inside the bird to outside it which are Dropwigs, Hunter regrets questioning and goes back, meanwhile Gourmand goes on a hunt for a less delicious replacement. He comes back with two spears of bats.
