What we outside of America have learned is that America can only be trusted 4 years at a time and maybe even that is questionable. The pillars have fallen. Like Rome & the British empire before, the American empire is coming to an end.

Water greedy? That seems a bit over the top. We do need to manage water where it's scarce especially where agriculture depends on ground water but in most of Canada standing in the shower for a few extra minutes or flushing a toilet a second time will make no difference to the water table.

Oil certainly has been important up until now but the new oil is sunshine, wind & nuclear energy. There is a reason China has focused on being #1 in EVs.

You don't need oil if you can buy it. They are building a pipeline straight from Russia. They have also become a world leader in renewable energy while Trump was working on clean coal. They are also way out in front with EVs. Trump has been a gift to China.

China's economy is booming. Trump started a trade war & lost, big time. He was too stupid to realize China has a world wide strangle hold the rare earth minerals that A.I. and the digital economy depend on. America's high tech economy can only exist with China's permission.

I would bet money that he doesn't follow through at all. If he does he will have to explain to the supreme court how a television ad that he doesn't like is a security threat to the US.

Doug needs to stop spending our money in the U.S. The rest of us are busy boycotting American products while Ford cancels our efforts by handing big bucks to American media companies so they can tell Americans what they already know and don't care.
