11 Talk Talk Spirit of Eden
I'll just never forget the experience of taking this album to the test turntable at RC and hearing that blazing harmonica arrive in the opening track. It's rare that artists challenge themselves the way Talk Talk did. Surely must have pissed off ther label.

I think this album is very critically underrated. Depending on your tastes perhaps preferred over All Things Must Pass.
Apparently George refused to do anything other than hold his guitar during photo or video shoots. A constraint that led some classic music videos.

I got one of @writnelson.bsky.social turtles at GDC. I was quietly eating a rice bowl at Yerba garden. He stopped by then silently reached into his bag and handed me a turtle. I silently nodded with gratitude and that was the extent of our communication all week.
