Not a rescued pattern, but I designed a bookmark. Here's the prototype. I'm just happy to make a pattern, to be honest.

A pair I made were not nearly as elegant. I couldn't find a pattern at the time, so I did my best. I do love little crochet boots, though.

Not doily related, but I learned if you put the string in the notch at the bottom of the tea bag tag, you don't have to hold it to keep the whole thing going in when you pour the water.

THE FIRST PASS IS FINISHED, ALL! Thread size makes a huge difference, wow. Now to block it and work on the next one. I do each pattern in rotation, so I don't get burned out on it. So happy it's DONE!

Two crochet doilies. One is an antique piece that was thrifted from an antique store. The other is a recreation of the pattern, done in larger thread, in the hopes of preserving a pattern that might be otherwise lost. It's the first pass, so there will need to be corrections, and as of now unblocked (the edges are curing up).

It's a medical condition thing. My poor thumbs.

Here she is! I had to put her on the couch because I had nothing else large enough as a flat background. (My partner got an orange couch and I do not understand)

I honestly don't remember the size, but she was a biggun.

I did one from the 1920s once! It was a lot of fun.

I thought I would start by introducing you to the first doily! I believe this is an original pattern, no info on artist or age. I'm a little further along now, and will post the final first shot when I'm finished. Such an exciting start!
