Ka Ying Rising is elite. Son of a moderately commercial Shamexpress—a fast son of O'Reilly— but he comes from the family of a couple of Kiwi legends, Gurner's Lane and Sovereign Red. Incidentally, his dam Missy Moo ran in a 3200m Wellington Cup! She is by a good sire-son of Street Cry.
