Approx. 1 in 39 Australian males alive (all ages) at the start of the war in 1914 died in the war.
Presumably the age group of say 15-40 would've provided almost all the men who went to war so the number of deaths in that age group may have been 1 in 20 or 25. Shocking to contemplate.

Paterson is positioning himself to be the next federal parliamentary Liberal Party leader. Dutton will lose the election and if he doesn't lose his own seat he won't hang around long. The dearth of talent in the Liberal Party is bottomless, hence Paterson has a good chance of being the next Leader

If a 10 y.o. can be treated as an adult and do 'adult time' it surely follows that they be treated as an adult in other areas.
Are they to be given the right to vote ?
