Agreed! Players have a very small window of opportunity to capitalize on their talents - owners make a ton of money for a lot longer! Salary caps are awful.

Would have been more 'acceptable' for Hoff to blow it there. Fans know what he's done this season. (Then the argument would have been 'they saw Hoff in G4, why not bring Dominguez to start the inning fresh' or 'what about Bassitt?')
