Weakening flood risk policy in a climate crisis is a risky gamble with public safety. The change to planning policy responds to the concerns of land promoters & housebuilders quickly, while avoiding consultation with experts or homeowners who will ultimately pay the price.

The Whittington Estate was built by Camden Council in the 1970s. It offered well-planned, flexible homes with generous outdoor space & a layout that encouraged sociability & safety.
