The other wonderful thing about visiting Manningham Library this week for the Summer Reading Challenge was getting to see the setting of our current staff book club text!

A school, who we have worked with for just 12 months, contacted us recently with this feedback. We are blown away. To think our programme is opening doors for students that they thought were closed and giving them a voice is an incredible feeling.

There are some really positive changes. For example, the topic of bereavement is now statutory.

We love to see what children have been learning about in their Story Project lessons. Knowing that their lessons are helping them to understand wellbeing and what to do when they are worried is incredible! We never tire of hearing it.

A busy 7 days at The Story Project saw us at not one, but three conferences! The National Literacy Trust Conference, Wakefield School Leaders Conference and @rochdalecouncil.bsky.social Mental Health Conference.
