This is a great idea. Transparency and firsthand accounts could reshape how people view these programs. Have you thought about how to make sure these town halls reach people who don’t usually engage with this info? Seems like that could be key to making it impactful.

Cult thinking is cult thinking. It’s the method of thinking that’s so deleterious. Religions are cults with more subscribers and are the ultimate in tribalism. How many goddamned sects are there? Tens of thousands? “Christian”. WTF does that word even mean? It’s about as descriptive as “white”. 🤦♂️

It is AND you’re not alone. The level of insanity coming from the political right of center is terrifying and the desire to try to protect oneself is hardwired. “They” are in charge now. Better served to flee before it’s too late than to try and resist. Personal arsenals are no match for a cult.
