I got a couple from someone I know IRL and one or two from randos.

I'm just some guy, and I manged to get 271 followers with a couple comments. I know not all are real, but still I'm shocked. I was on the other site for years and never reached this. Interactions other than likes haven't really happened (I know I have a quarter of the followers you do though.)
