Finally time for a new photo! So many cloudy nights this spring, but last week I was able to snag two nights of good images to get this picture of the Dumbbell Nebula (M27). It is available in The Stellar Spectrum shop now!

Two updates! I changed things up a bit for the colors on the Pacman Nebula and that is available in The Stellar Spectrum shop right now. I also got the Andromeda Galaxy photo in the shop. These would make stunning additions to your wall, so check them out!

I finally was able to get a shot I'm happy with for our closest galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy. This must have been my fifth try, and every time before there seemed to be something that didn't turn out right. Look for a touched up version in the Stellar Spectrum store soon!

Andromeda didn't quite pan out, but I did catch the Whirlpool Galaxy on this night.

Getting the telescope out in the clear, dry air of New Mexico tonight. I took this with my Pixel 8 and you can even see the Andromeda Galaxy that I'm shooting in the center of the frame.
