It’s to that end though that makes learning these variations and differences (and the ages that created them) so fascinating, and while we can’t read them right now either due to access or knowledge, hopefully we got a lifetime full of both to do that learning.

To that same point, think of the renditions between each age in the thousands it’s persisted. It’s not anywhere near the same as the original or even its earlier copies however, because the earlier copies are so rare, they would be worthy of actually searching and reading. Like the Ethiopian bible

Man, I wish they brought in donuts. I’d swear my undying fealty to their realm and task my future generations to forever guard their undying dynasty if they brought in some warm Boston crème, but honestly, who knows if my bloodline will see another generation.

Why prioritize the Bible over more obfuscated, alienated, and current- community minded texts with limited releases and potential full erasure both digitally and in print? Especially if it’s not banned here and I can pick up any edition of it I want in as many colors and translations possible.
