One thing in this post i do agree with though, is that we as humans are terrible at resource reallocation. We would rather throw away things that aren't making us a profit than give it away to someone who needs it

People won't want to work to produce the excess in this post if they get nothing valuable out of it. This is why money is so important

Its meant to measure the value of the work we do, and reward us for doing it

It's such a good song that shows us a lot about who both characters are if you pay close attention, and I wish more people would talk about it!!!!

This c o u l d be looked at as just a throwaway gag, but if you really think about it, its one of the biggest times that shows that they really aren't in sync, and that Hans hasn't paid her much attention at all, especially since after this part, he goes back to following her lead

When Hans does try to lead in the second verse, it doesn't go as planned. He starts off by saying "we finish each others..." expecting her to say "sentences", but instead, Anna says "sandwiches".

In Hans' part of the first verse, he mentions wanting to find a place of his own, alluding to his true intentions of taking the kingdom over. You may think this is just coincidence but he says it twice. When they're singing together in the first verse, he mentions how he's "found [his] place"

Firstly, a lot of the times in this song, its Anna initiating the verses, with Hans following her lead. You don't notice this a lot because oftentimes they're singing together, but this is how most of the song goes

Hell, she even starts the song on the whole

"Love is an Open Door" is a really good song for both listening and narrative purposes! It's the type of song you don't think much of until you watch the movie a few times over and you know how the plot goes, and the way this song alludes to Hans' true motives is so subtle and interesting
