100% agree. Fully in support of games being accessible to a range of player abilities to make them more enjoyable for everyone. If someone likes punishing games, then great for them, but the rest of us still want to enjoy the other aspects of those games 😂

A game like Getting Over It, the entire purpose is to be a difficult game. But Silksong isn't just about the gameplay, in my opinion its as much about the story and character and music, which I think warrants making it accessible to people with a wider range of skill levels.

It feels like a very gatekeepy attitude to me. Perhaps an attitude of "well if you can't cope with how hard this game is then it's not for you, this game is only for people that are good enough". Which I get for some games where it is designed specifically to be difficult, but not for most games

I'll have to take a short leave of viewing to avoid spoilers, but can't wait to gush about the soundtrack with you once I have a chance to play myself!

Haven't had the chance to try it yet, although I started running Pathfinder after the OGL fiasco anyway. Really excited to try Daggerheart out though, it seems really cool!
