It just feels different to know the platform itself doing the opposite of what they just said they would do, rather than bots that are everywhere on the Internet anyways doing the same thing they’ll do anywhere else.

It’s the explicit buy-in from the same people who said they wouldn’t do it that annoys me the most. It’s barely been 10 months and their stance has 180’d, so who knows what’s next. As someone who previously posted my stuff on DeviantArt, I expect all of my stuff is scraped by this point anyways.
