This, right here, is all the semantic sleight-of-hand defending Israel. The State of Israel did NOT “suffer the trauma of the Holocaust.” The state didn't exist until 1948. And states don’t suffer trauma! Only people do. You can’t carry out a genocide against a state. Only against people.
