Here is the #fountainpen the nib is very scratchy indeed almost feels like it’s cutting into the paper but it’s not the ink doesn’t flow evenly and it looks like it’s an extra fine. It does flex to make slightly thicker lies but it certainly doesn’t work as well as the video. A bit disappointed.

Indeed. A flower from my garden taken by my very old Samung Note 2 smartphone about 10 years ago and not by my camera. The bush has never flowered again that I have noticed

Heres my new diary that arrived 4 1/2 days early it has room for five inserts. It takes standard A5 inserts and you can always get extra ones and also extra elastic bands If they wear out. I’m very happy with This now I just got to decide how to use it.

I’ve tested the new fountain pen and it writes well. The ink is from the bottle in the photo. 15ml purchased from Ali Express and forgot that I had it. No complaints a solid performer..

I now have 10 fountain pens that’s a good starting number I think but there’s room for many more LOL here’s my fattest pen for comparison with my new one. I’ve got a few dropper pants like this fatman.

Here is my new cheapish fountain pen. Dark green and aluminum? I will post again when I’ve tested it

My final purchase today is this book because of all your recommendations regarding Robin Hobb and all your praise for her writing.

Here is another purchase of mine today. I’ve included a photo of the back page so you can read the details. It sounds like a very fascinating plot.

Part of my book haul for today. This is part of a series. There are 2 more books that weren’t in the store I went to. I’m not sure if there are a different series so for now’s I’ll say this is a trilogy. I was attracted to across on the spine of each book which looked to me like a crusader cross

Day 21 : My injured arm is getting stronger every day. I am now about halfway through the average recovery time. I can lift nearly everything except very heavy bags of groceries.

I’ve put down two books temporarily that I picked up to read because they are difficult to hold open and have tiny print. I’ve started on this book. It flops open and stays open because of the way the paper was cut with a grain. This is a great series. I’ve read it once a long time ago.

I can’t wait for the next four weeks to fly past. I’m very eager to start writing and recording music playing my guitar and using my treadmill I’m trying to be patient but I’m not succeeding enough. Here is the best it can go up to 16 km an hour and also up to a gradient slope of 10%.

While I’m recovering from my injury, I’m determined to get through a few unread books. This one seems to stay flat no matter where I put it down so that makes it easy for me to read right now. I do write in my books off and I’ll find sentences that I want to follow up later

I’ve been looking for a new watch for a very long time. I went to 5 stores in the same shopping mall and all the women’s watches were so ugly and plain. I ended up getting this one from Swatch. I had a choice of colourful or industrial and minimalist and I went for this one industrial.

My next current read. I’m going to write something in my diary about this book just started tonight so no impression yet it’s from my local Indie bookshop that I’ve supported since Covid started.

Hi everyone had a frustrating week trying to get a plumber and someone to fix a problem with my front door to no avail and had to move a bunch of appointments forward to fit everyone in. Back to recording music later tonight. Meanwhile I’m reading this book.
