Last night's view from the Regional as I waited for the last bus of the night to deliver me home.
That shelter is on the wrong side of the street—that's the second-to-last stop (the last is UNBSJ) and no one gets picked up there, only dropped off.

Seasonal affective disorder on top of Asperger's Syndrome (yes, I know, it's problematic to call it that—I typically call myself an aspie and that seems less likely to get me the side eye than using the full name) is not fun. I made myself shower and dress and got out of this house for a bit.

A month of melancholy has arrived. November is when I slow down, become more introverted (if such a thing is possible), and generally avoid the rest of humanity. I would hibernate if it was financially feasible.

I'm happier for others than for myself this Thanksgiving but I am thankful for being outside in weather that finally resembles autumn in the Maritimes.
And I'm thankful for municipal parks within walking distance of my place.

I went for a walk along this foggy, dimly lit street (I love the overhanging leaves and branches—there are several Saint John streets that have overhanging branches and it adds so much character to the neighbourhood). This is typical Saint John weather—fog, clouds, mist... It's like film noir.
