We watched 28 Years Later yesterday. @corallai.bsky.social got me interested in the premise after a chat about the upcoming sequel, and I'm pretty surprised at how good it was! Very well told and heartfelt coming of age story with some sillies. I don't get the divided reviews at all tbh, good movie.

Today, January 10th/11th we watched Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc. Man I was NOT ready. If Chainsaw Man was a thing during my teenage years I think Reze would have dealt permanent damage to my taste in women (probably would have been a good thing). Emotional devastation!

Our groupwatch finished watching the first season of Code Geass on the 10th of January. Still as silly, over the top and gripping as I remember it. First time watching the full season in Japanese as I watched the dub back in the day, Fukujun truly is unmatched as Lelouch, but still props to JYB.

First game I checked out this year: Warframe. As of the time of writing, I've been playing for 3 weeks. Took me way too long to give it a shot, this game is buttery smooth! I've been having a good time bonding with my brother with a game for the first time in 10 years. Definitely playing more!
