It's superb, easily one of the best films last year.
It's more than your average vampire film.
Watch it you won't regret it

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

Howzat? A complete waste of time that's what.
A zombie film with barely any zombies. Both films feel pointless.
The Jimmy character had the most bizarre intro and then at the same time a missed opportunity.

Primate

This was shown as the Odeon Screen Unseen pick.
Nowhere near as scary as the trailer suggests, but decent enough with a few gory death scenes. Worth a watch when it's released.

Avatar: Fire and Ash

Well that was a really hard slog, I don’t think I’ve checked my watch so much during a film.
Story wise it's a complete copy and paste of the second film and is very forgettable overall.

Anaconda
Switch your brain off and enjoy Jack Black and Paul Rudd. A solid comedy that got a few laughs out of me.

The Housemaid

I enjoyed it, though I’ve seen far better thrillers. Still worth a watch, with a couple of decent twists along the way.

Silent Night, Deadly Night

I haven’t seen the other versions, and based on this I won’t be rushing to. Thought it was very poor, if it was on TV, I’d have switched it off.

Fackham Hall

Packed with constant jokes. Some land, some don’t. I lost interest about halfway through.

Great thread mate.

On the Execs, we also need to understand why they keep leaving. Is it because of the owners, the project, or Eddie Howe?

Something isn't right, and if the people running it can't sort it, then it will trickle down to the squad.

The Ballad of Wallis Island just missed out on the best list.

Keep an eye out for when this is available to stream, I would recommend this to anyone.

Wicked: For Good
A strong follow-up that turns the Oz story on its head. If you liked the first, you should see this. The long gap is the only drawback, you need to remember the setup, I wish I had rewatched the first one before going.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't
I haven’t seen the others, but this one made me want to. The tricks and twists kept me interested and I came out curious to watch the rest.

The Running Man
A fun action film that’s worth a trip to the cinema. I’d happily watch it again.

Predator: Badlands
Looks great but the story is weak and predictable. The 12A rating says it all, this isn’t the Predator you remember from the Arnie days.

I saw a good take on this a few years ago.
James Bond is the name you're assigned when you become 007.
That explains why James Bond has looked different throughout the years and never seems to age.

Back to the Future
One of the all-time greats. Brilliant to finally see this on the big screen, absolute classic.

Bugonia
Really enjoyed this one, constantly keeps you guessing and flipping your theories.
Jesse Plemons is brilliant.
The ending will split people, you’ll either love it or hate it.

What a brilliant film, I can’t recommend it enough.

Black Phone 2
A perfect example of why not every film needs a sequel. Nowhere near as good as the first. If you’re making a horror where the villain appears in dreams, you might as well bring back Freddy Krueger.

Roofman
Marketed like a goofy comedy, but it’s actually more serious in tone. If you’re expecting laughs, you’ll be disappointed. Ultimately quite forgettable, not one I’d rush to watch again.

Tron: Ares
Visually stunning and probably worth seeing in IMAX, but overall it’s forgettable and brings nothing new. Fans of Tron might enjoy it, everyone else can wait for streaming

The Smashing Machine

The story doesn’t hit hard enough, it never fully commits to the drug abuse or the fighting.
But The Rock is superb, proving he can truly act. Hopefully he gets the recognition he deserves.

I think people get carried away whenever Leo releases a new film. It’s good, but not the masterpiece some reviews suggest. I enjoyed it, though I wouldn’t watch it again.
