I don't know about this particular case, but in China they have historically used people for earth moving and other heavy jobs instead of machinery because that invests in employing people instead of one huge bulldozer. It was like a jobs program for their very large population.

it means that batteries are being made out of table salt as we speak and so we won't need litium batteries in the future.

This makes batteries cheaper and safer and we no longer need rare earth minerals.

Probably no one else has seen it except me, but the ending to Soap was pretty good. I really enjoyed Soap and hated the ending, but it tied up all the loose ends. Permanently.
