Old cement plant can be seen from the pier. It is no longer in use, but it's why the pier was built.

Little Squalicum Pier out into Bellingham Bay is now open to the public during daytime and early evening hours. It built to connect the local cement plant to barges. Cement plant closed in early 1980s. Pier is now used part of the parks department.

Saturday night was a fun dance at the Hotel Leo for Bellingham Queer Collective. Music was full of energy from a real good DJ named Westwood.
