Painting Plein Air in my local park- it was super cold and I was in two minds about venturing out! Put on my thermals and off I’ve set off with a hot flask of tea!

Many of the spots I’ve eyed before have lost all their leaves, so have to settle with this lovely tree reflection-

Behind my process in the studio…. This is a pastel painting that I’ve started doing in a course of @alberthandell whom I think he is a master in the medium. It was too early on for me to really follow the video so I had the base done, and just in a side easel for some years now.

Finally I have organised myself to do for the first time ever, the 12 Days of Christmas promotion, something that I hope it will become an yearly event!

Starting on 1st December, every day, for 12 days, at 12 GMT, I will offer one of my paintings at a knock down price, for one day only!

Val Ferret in Autumn is finished. It takes me longer working with oils than pastels as I am learning the ropes and working on understanding how to create the colours I want!
