👹 Monster Bash: This family festival features a treat trail, spooky games, performances, a stilt walker, an inflatable zone, a “Creepy Crawly Ooey Gooey Zone” and more. Visitors can grab a bite at food trucks. Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rengstorff Park, Mountain View; free.

🚘 Electric Vehicle Frunk or Treat: Attendees can trick-or-treat at EV owners’ “frunks” and do a scavenger hunt for candy and raffle entry. There will also be a costume contest, electric bike test rides, a food truck and face painting. Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 433 Charles St., Sunnyvale; free.

🍻 Boos and Brews: The downtown San Mateo pedestrian mall will host trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, music and a photo booth. Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company will also sell beer and wine on-site. Oct. 25, 3-5 p.m. on B Street between 1st and 3rd avenues, San Mateo; free.

🐾 Springline Barks & Boos: Dress up your pup for a night at the dog park featuring pet vendors, a live DJ, a costume contest, complimentary food and drinks available for purchase. Oct. 24, 5-7:30 p.m. at The Glade Dog Park, Menlo Park; free.

Cinema at the Cemetery, Colma: Catch a screening of “The Goonies” at the Italian Cemetery Mausoleum. Sept. 27, movie starts at dusk at the Italian Cemetery, 540 F St. Early arrival is recommended due to limited space; admission starts at 6 p.m.

Great Glass Pumpkin Patch, Palo Alto: More than 25 artists handcraft over 10,000 glass pumpkins in all sizes and colors for this popular fall event. Sept. 27-28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palo Alto Art Center, 1313 Newell Road.

Millbrae Mid-Autumn Festival: Celebrate the Chinese tradition with live performances and entertainment, food, family-friendly activities and artisans in downtown Millbrae. Sept. 27, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 200-400 Broadway.

Fog Fest, Pacifica: This Coastside event includes a Saturday morning parade, the Fall Family Fun Fest Sunday, a photo contest and the Fog Jog along with two days of arts and crafts vendors, live music, food and drinks. Sept. 27-28, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Palmetto Avenue.
